About Me
Sara and I help make spiritual communities for people who hate church. The vast gap between religion and spirituality is slowly being more recognized by our culture and, as a whole, we are losing interest in this big thing we call “organized religion.” Most of us still feel that we are built to be spiritual beings; I personally consider myself to be a Christ Follower or simply one who seeks to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. These may or may not align with what you think of when you consider traditional “Christianity.” I have a few friends who have decided that it is possible to abandon spirituality completely and have claimed Atheism. Most, however, have held to spirituality in whatever form they currently feel is most appropriate.
I feel that respect and understanding should be actively sought between all faiths. Simply disagreeing with someone should not mean that you cannot enjoy their friendship and it does not mean that good cannot come to the world through that friendship. In a world where religious people kill one another in the name of their god everyday, I seek to love all people in the name of mine.

A like minded man. I sought out Christ in church for many years and didn’t really find him there. Keep up the search, he’s here but not where people expect to find him. People tend to forget that he preached a relationship, not another church.

I really enjoyed your blog. As a Pagan, I completely empathized with your perspective, and I wish that more spiritual people–including some of the people following my spiritual path–would subscribe to your philosophy. It was really refreshing to hear someone communicate their love of Christ so clearly in a way that I, personally, think He would enjoy. Thank you for sharing this.
